I called her for a few minutes, abruptly changed the topic during an interesting conversation, and i said good bye before she finished her sentence. I did this because i’m a crazy fool.
And then i thought, how clever i could have been, i dialed the number again,
“Baby, happy birthday!”
“Bodoh, not yet la baby.”
“But i want to be the first who wishes you,” i rolled to the other side of the bed, glanced at the ceiling, winked at the wall, put my hand beneath the pillow and continued, “nanti kalau i terlupa macam mana.”
“Idiot la you ni, lambat lagi seminggu.”
“Takpe la, i wish awal-awal then i’d be the first. Happy birthday baby!” I hung up.
A few seconds later, a short message came in. It read;
Haha how sweet. And silly. Thanks anyway. Dont forget, it’s on the 11th.
And now i know when your birthday is. See, i very pandai one ^_^
