Ranting-ranting pokok kayu

When i posted on Firdauz takes 5 about ‘me eating pork‘, i first thought i could have a decent debate with the people who believe i shall not eat pork.

Because the truth is, why muslims (somehow they always see me as a muslim and try to govern me even when i’ve been very clear about this, i don’t consider myself a muslim) are not allowed to eat pork is because their religion ordains them not to, there was no reason given to them. Islam is a total submission, you submit to God and you declare :

1) There is no God but Allah
2) Muhammad is the Messenger of God

That’s it, there’s no scientific discovery mumbo-jumbo on why God (in Islamic view), doesn’t allow them to eat pork.

In short, if you’re a muslim (and there’s nothing wrong in being a muslim and to maintain the belief of the law of god is divine, and you have no knowledge of why the consumption of pork is prohibited), you fully submit to the will of God because in Islam, God is omniscient, He knows everything that human beings don’t. It’s pretty simple. Pretty damn simple. That’s why in Islam, ‘iman’ or faith is the key to being a muslim. A muslim is someone who has ‘iman’, someone who totally submits himself to God.

Saya bukan seorang yang beriman, bukan seorang muslim. Ini juga tidak salah sepertimana kamu juga tidak bersalah untuk untuk menjadi seorang muslim.

But even in this simplicity, there are muslims who actually believe in false scientific discovery that is not islamic at all but says bad things about pork. And i first thought i could have had decent arguments with ‘The Unknown’ when he claimed ‘his friend a specialist in pathology and has got all the pathological evidence on why eating pork is hazardous.‘

Then he went missing when i asked him to ask his friend to ‘bombard’ me with all the pathological evidence because he did say his friend could do that to me, so i thought, why not, just bombard me la. But he went missing also sedih ok!

He even failed to prove me anything other than he has a story, and the story says he has a friend who has pathological evidence on why eating pork is hazardous. A story, not yet a fact.

And then 2 days ago, came Zagami, more or less the same thing, i first thought i could have a decent and a heated debate with him as he sounded like a smart person at first but turned out his arguments are very-very weak and he only talked rubbish on the topic of ‘A lot of great scientists are turning spiritual because these scientists always come to a dead end in quantum physics.’

Dan bila saya disappointed with the people, saya rant macam orang tua.

This is ranting, i admit, it’s very selfish, i rant because i didn’t get to satisfy myself to debate with a decent opponent. I’m bitching about things that don’t satisfy me, i admit this.

Itulah ranting-ranting pokok kayu. Ranting saya fragile, patah-patahkan, eyah!
