Since the Invasion of Iraq, and the years after that, i don’t remember buying any girl any gift, or perhaps i’ve had, but i simply can’t recall.

To tell you honestly, Girlfriend no. 4038 — and to tell you my favourite readers with a little bit more of flavour —, i am an idiot when it comes to buying gifts. I simply do not know what to buy for a girl, it’s the hardest and the most challenging thing for me.

So i usually pick up all bills, for food, for shopping, for anything that a girl brings to the cashier, as long as it’s a reasonable buy, i have always been the one who pays. But i never bought any gift. I am an idiot on this matter.

And today Vernice showed me her new bag, she bought it online. She said, “See, i trust your taste Firdy, i bought blue color you know.” She should have not. They also sell red, and red is nicer, but i told Vernice to buy the blue one 3 days ago because i’m clever on this matter.

I’m clever, i keep the nicer color for you.
